Story Map

Creating a story map is a way to help you understand and summarize the stories you read.  When you make a story map, you identify the basic story elements, such as the characters, setting, conflict, and important plot events.

Title:wipeout gulch

Characters:The girl with a bike

Conflict:She tried to make over the muddy lake but each time she failed

Setting: the forest

Event 1: She tried and tried But failed

Event 2: She dreamed of making it over With her bike

Event 3: Days passed and the day came

Event 4:She made it across

Climax:It was cool when she made it across

Resolution:She calmed down and relaxed and was trying her best and she finally made it over she was proud of herself and biked home
